It has been proposed that the forthcoming amendments to BS7671 (Wiring Regs) should include a change of name for what we presently know as a PIR (Periodic Inspection Report).

The changes would see a new report called EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report).

We have downloaded a copy of the new report and on skim reading haven't noticed any major changes. Although this may be due to us being more familiar with the NICEIC's version of the report and not the IEE's
