We fit either Crabtree or Hager as standard but also offer MK, Wylex, Control Gear or Legrand should you prefer.
The price of consumer units vary from under £100 to over £300 dependent on brand, features and size (how many trip switches).
When upgrading fuseboxes / consumer units we normally start with a mini Inspection Report to make sure each circuit is electrically safe and won't cause any nuisance tripping on the new board. We always follow the Electrical Safety Councils Best Practice Guide (#6 Consumer unit replacement in domestic premises), which if you would like to view is downloadable for the ESC's website. We will also issue a certificate and register the job with the Local Council Building Control
