Fixed Wire Testing, Periodic Inspection Report (PIR), Electrical condition inspection report (ECIR), 5 Yearly Safety Certificate, electrical survey, "ticket", call it what you will.

Think of a fixed wire test (ECIR) as an MOT on your electrical installation.
It highlights any potential hazards in the installation and can identify defective DIY work, electrical fire hazards, lack of earthing and bonding and future problems that could arise.

We can provide an in depth report detailing the condition of your electrical installation.
Reports are produced on NICEIC Approved Contractor forms to meet with the most stringent of clients / insurance companies.

The report will establish if the installation is Satisfactory or if further work is needed.

Defects are listed as follows.

C1 - Danger Present  - Risk of injury. Immediate remedial action required.

C2 - Potentially dangerous - Urgent remedial action required

C3 - Improvement recommended

This replaces the former 4 code system (1,2,3,4). Does not meet BS7671:2008 as been withdrawn.

We will also provide a detailed report (with pictures) in layman's terms with recommendations and cross referencing with BS7671 (The wiring regulations).

Should you wish we can provide a quotation for the rectification, and normally provide a discount in respect to the ECIR.  You are under no obl;igation to use the same contractor for the ECIR and the remedial work as all qualified electricians will be able to work from the recommendations on the certificate.

Unfortunately the pricing of ECIR's is a bit like who longs a piece of string!
We normally base the price on the amount of circuits, but other factors are also taken into consideration.
So if your in Lowestoft, Gt Yarmouth, Beccles, Suffolk or Norfolk and need a fixed wire test we're sure you'll find our "per Circuit" pricing competitive.
Why not request a free no obligation quotation.
